I am very happy to report that my short film "The Legend of Farmer Jenkins" has been accepted to the 2007 Los Angeles Animation Festival (L.A.A.F.) and will be shown as a part of their "Ghost Story" Competition. The winner of the competition gets some money as well as having their short featured in an upcoming "Tales from the Crypt"-STYLE anthology DVD.
The L.A.A.F. is designed to showcase new talent and the Ghost Story competition seemed to be designed for Jenkins! In thier words: "...as long as it’s spooky, weird, or scary. If it’s a story, character or atmosphere driven tale with a twist – even better." That pretty much sums up Jenkins!
Jenkins will be shown between 2pm-4pm on October 20th. For more information check out www.laafest.org
Special thanks to John Vassallo for suggesting I do this!
